Who we are
Lingua Ideale is a university center of Italian language and culture for international students: it was born back in 2011 as a spin-off company of the University of Urbino Carlo Bo.
The courses take place in the historical city center of Urbino, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Students may benefit from the numerous services offered by the university town, which is people-oriented and has an appealing and familiar atmosphere, typical of the Renaissance time.
Teaching
Lingua Ideale offers courses on Italian language and culture to foreign students. The team’s instructors are highly specialized in the pedagogy of teaching and learning Italian as a foreign or second language, with a multi-year experience in Italy and abroad.
The teaching method is based on the communicative approach and is student-centered.
At the end of the course of study, students may choose to take a final exam to earn university credits (ECTS), accepted by all universities worldwide.
